Scitation maintenance
(Scitation is the server providing us with access to AIP, APS, ASCE, ASME, SPIE digital libraries). For the most part, there should be no problems for UW users.
Scitation's user database will undergo maintenance between 12:00 ET (US) (16:00 GMT) on Friday, May 12 and 09:00 ET (US) (13:00 GMT) on Monday, May 15.
(1) During the maintenance period, Scitation will be completely functional except for the following loss of services:
-New subscribers will not be able to register for access.
-Individual users cannot change passwords, reset passwords.
-The MyScitation personalization suite will not be available.
-Users of AIP Article Packs, APS Member Article Packs, ASCE Library Cards, and SPIE Personal Subscriptions can log in and download articles, but cannot access their reports until the maintenance is completed.
All other Scitation functions will be available - including browsing and searching of publications content, full-text access, linked references, and single-article sales.
(2) The following specialized services will also be unavailable during the maintenance period:
Purchase and activation of new Personal Subscriptions.
